No, not a duckling.
Its a duckline'd pond.
mainly because this was the only little swimmer in an open pool near hear making all those ripples in the watter himself.

I kinda like the effects this duck gave to my camera shot though. Good lighting, and ripples cause for a weird hypnotic effect like this. hardly any editing done at all.
